The full story behind how PURPOSE came to be: The idea and dream for PURPOSE was an answered prayer. Personally, I needed purpose and direction in my life. I needed fulfillment but all I had was a passion for health, a hobby gardening and a still small but growing faith. In the summer of 2022, while riding a young horse in training, I started having tightness in my chest. Nothing like a heart attach or anything, I was only 30 and healthy so I thought, but still my body was try to tell me something. The next day my chest hurt so bad it hurt to breath, move, lay down but on top of that now my right hip was in excruciating pain and my left ring finger was so swollen I couldn't get my rings off... What was happening to me?! I was thinking, "I ran track in college, I'm physically fit, very active lifestyle and eat mostly healthy, how could something like this be happening to me?" This was the first step in motion to getting me on the path of health. I went to so many doctors, specialist, pt's and spent so much money on what felt like nothing since the problems stuck around for 6 months. Finally, my own research payed off. I had tindenitas in my hip and finger and costochondritis in my chest (which is inflammation of the cartilage connecting your ribs to your sternum). The root cause- internal inflammation which almost 35% of adults suffer from most of which have no idea and are just living in pain. After jumping through all the medical hoops I knew there had to be a different more natural way to combat inflammation. So the anti-inflammatory and immunity boosting drinks were born. Soon after that my research led me to making the electrolytes because I had cut out sugars, dyes and preservative as part of my inflammation journey and knowing how crucial hydration is I needed an alternative to store bought sports drinks. After that diet shift came another big one, cutting out any hidden chemicals like pesticides and preservatives sprayed on our produce so my hobby of organic gardening was now turning into a necessity. Between 12-18 months from initially getting hurt I finally started feeling better.
