Reflexions Beauty and Wellness was established in 2016 by licensed esthetician Melissa Tucker in Waco, Texas. Prior to opening Reflexions, Melissa worked for six years at one of the largest spas in Texas, where she became the top-performing esthetician in sales, consistently breaking records, winning company awards, and earning educational opportunities and travel incentives. During that time, she gained extensive knowledge of how a successful multi-million-dollar spa operates and developed a vision to create a wellness-focused business centered around personalized client care and advanced skincare services.
After leaving the spa industry to pursue entrepreneurship, Melissa faced significant challenges due to non-compete agreements that prevented her from contacting former clients or using previous product lines for one year. Only four months after Melissa left, the spa unexpectedly closed its doors, leaving many local clients with unused gift cards and prepaid services. In response, Melissa stepped up to support her community by publicly accepting one gift card per client toward services at Reflexions. Through social media outreach, word-of-mouth referrals, and dedication to results-driven skincare, Reflexions rapidly rebuilt a loyal clientele and became a trusted wellness destination in Central Texas.
Today, Reflexions Beauty and Wellness serves over 100 clients weekly and is booked 4–6 weeks in advance. The business specializes in customized skincare and wellness treatments tailored to each client’s lifestyle, medical history, skincare regimen, and goals. Also she rents space out to other local professionals adding all things hair to the menu, massage therapy, and more. Melissa has developed over 40 original facial treatments and continues advanced education every six months to stay current with leading wellness and beauty innovations. Reflexions partners with more than a dozen professional skincare brands, including PCA Skin, Sorella Apothecary, Amarte, EltaMD, and Skin Script RX. The business combines advanced esthetic treatments with wellness-focused technologies to provide high-quality services at accessible pricing for the Waco community and surrounding rural areas. The business serves a broad client demographic ranging from local Waco residents to clients traveling from Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding Central Texas communities. Reflexions has also served clients traveling from neighboring states including Oklahoma and Louisiana due to its reputation for customized skincare and advanced wellness services.
