Ophelia is 1 month old as of December 11th 😍

I'm still not sure when I'll be returning to work, we are still just spending as much time as possible with our precious girl in the nicu.

Toi has lots of availability this week, and if next weeks books fill up, we'll be adding some more hours, but since we have not been getting the books filled, and with the holiday, we didn't want to add too many hours if they weren't going to get booked!

Toi has a ton of availability this week! Probably just will go week by week on adding her to the books until I decide what to do. It's hard to leave Ophelia alone in the NICU

Update on Ophelia 🥰 she's doing good. She has started work on a paci and is well on her way to learning "suck swallow breathe", then we can work on eating from breast and bottle, which is the main thing she needs to come home! She'll be 3 weeks old tomorrow and we're hoping to have her home by her due date (January 30th)

She's the most amazing human I've ever met and just so strong 😭 we're so proud of her! Here's a rare photo of her with out anything on her face, she looks just like her daddy right now 💓

Hey Friends 👋🏻

We only had 2 more people book since I posted about needing more bookings. Unfortunately I can not hold Toi hostage if she is not making money. We tried really hard. I even texted clients personally to let them know I had hired a really great replacement for myself. But we only have 9 appointments on the books for 2 weeks. Well over 100 appointments are available. I was completely booked before I was admitted to the hospital so you can see why this is so shocking to us.

Obviously this isn't enough to pay the bills at the shop let alone bills at home. And we can only rely on savings for so long. Ive been considering going back to work even though I'm only 2 weeks post surgery and would have to leave my baby alone in the nicu for most of the day. I'm also very concerned that clients won't be booking with me. We are DEEPLY struggling with what to do here. For sure if the next two weeks don't get booked Toi is going to be moving on. I wont be opening the books up for her for after 2 weeks from now until we get a better sense of what's going to happen. And I wont be making a decision about myself going back to work for a week or so.

I can't possibly discount services for an esthetician with 10 years of experience that I am paying (and begged her to quit her part time job) to take care of my clients. But I can discount MY work so we can hopefully get people in now.

Toi still only has one person booked for tomorrow, we took her schedule down to 10am-1pm
