Christmas in March??? Yes I've been playing with a pair of small logs,... One of Mesquite and the other, Texas Ash. The Snowman is made out of the Ash with Blackwood for eyes and button inlays. If you'd like me to make you one message me and I'll be glad to get one started.
Homemade Wooden Crosses with barbed wire centered accent. Made from mitered antique Red barn wood from Axtell. Approximately 12 x 18. Have these for sale $30
I've made a few of these crosses and selling them for $ 38.00. They have some nice angle cuts in the middle and barbed wire for accent in the middle.

Here is my latest creation. It is called a segmented Bowl with pieces of wood,... with Purple Heart, Ash, Cherry Popular and Cocobolo. There are 119 different pieces that make up the entire Bowl. Hope you enjoy looking at it,... as much joy has I had making it.

Over a hundred years ago my father and his family moved into this Farmhouse in South Carolina. They began a hard and prosperous life of cultivating and growing a wonderful farm and family. Recently all the family finally moved out of the house and it was sold and moved to a new location. From that house my cousins sent me some of the wood. I received several different lengths of shiplap that were probably from the kitchen area or hallway and some internal rafters. How, those turned out to be "South Carolina Long Grain Pine". So as a rare wood I was able to craft several items . writing instruments out of the material to give to my cousin's and sister as gifts.

Well it has taken me several months to complete this bowl. This is one of the projects that I've been doing over the winter and here are some of the pics from its development. It was made from a Shagbark Hickory plug with the live edge. Enjoy.
