You bet I'm covered in sunblock. 👒 🧴 ☀️
It is not because I am Filipino, naturally tan enough on a daily basis 😘 ..but because I don't welcome radiation on my skin. 👎🏾❌
I love sunshine, but NOT Ultraviolet rays. 🌞
These harmful sun rays, can cause
unwanted loose skin, hideous sun spots (that so fabulously removed for me), premature aging (this I don't like the most because I want to look 30 forever 😆) AND the deadly skin cancer.
So what's the difference between UVB and UVA? Let's dissect this matter for a minute scientifically and health wise:
* UVB responsible for short-term damage causing sunburns and tanning, affects upper layer of skin (epidermis). The primary driver of DNA mutations leading to skin cancer. This sun rays is harmful on skin from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
* UVA the long-wave radiation from the sun all year long that penetrates deep into the dermis layer (thickest layer) of the skin. It causes skin aging: wrinkles and loss of elasticity. The stronger sun radiation that can pass through clouds and glass even indoors or on overcast days. It is responsible for collagen damage and also causes skin cancer.
Do we still like the sun? Yes we do! I do! I love to see sunshine, it makes me happy. Stay only under the sun for a short time NOT all day (be in the shade like me!😘). Hey, it isn't so bad to know more complex info for our benefit and share to others.
