This revelation shines new light on the humble beginnings of Jesus. In Bethlehem, shepherds raised lambs for Temple sacrifices, carefully protecting them from harm. When the Lamb of God arrived, He was laid in a manger, a place reserved for sacrificial lambs. The angels' announcement to the shepherds was fitting, as these men understood the gravity of sacrifice and purity.
