Sunny calendula 🌼 can be made into a simple oil herbal infusion by soaking in a carrier oil and used to make salves, lotions, creams or bath oils.
Calendula oil is anti-microbial, anti-fungal and it also has anti-inflammatory properties. It can help with mild skin irritations, healing small wounds, or a holistic diaper rash treatment 🌼
One thing I find so inspiring is visiting artisan shops and apothecaries. Today we stopped in Waitsfield, VT and discovered Three Birds Apothecary, an art gallery, and a beautiful location to sit and relax ☺️🌿🎨
