Salon Monet is located in the Greenwood section of Wakefield at 1117D Main Street and has been operating since 2004. Lynn (the owner), has been a cosmetologist since 1984 and employs several talented hairstylists. To keep up with current trends and to perfect the craft of hair styling, the salon attends many hair shows and color/cutting classes all over New England and the United States. The salon carries and uses ID Hair Paint, REF, Aloxxi, Zenagen, Amir, Joon, & WOW products.

Many of you may have noticed the Salon Monet awning has been removed from the building. After 20 years of owning the salon, I have passed the lease over to Amanda, owner of the Beauty Boutique! Claire and I will still be at this location working independently with the same phone number. We are looking forward to all our clients meeting Amanda and Alyson, our new fellow co-worker! Amanda has done a great job modernizing the space and we can’t wait for all of to experience the Beauty Boutique! See you soon!♥️

Many of you may know that Tamar’s mother, Maral, was a stylist at Salon Monet when we opened in 2003. Maral is a dedicated mother and has created a Memorial Fund in her daughter’s name. Please consider donating or participating in this event! 💙

On March 3, 2022, Massachusetts State Trooper, Tamar Bucci, tragically lost her life in the line of duty when her patrol SUV was struck by a tractor trailer as she was assisting a disabled motor vehicle. To honor Trooper Bucci’s memory, her family created the Trooper Tamar Bucci Memorial Fund.
The mission of the Trooper Tamar Bucci Memorial Fund is to foster goodwill, respect, and appreciation for law enforcement officers throughout hundreds of Massachusetts communities. Please join us on November 12th and or 13th as we partner with Spartan to bring the Trooper Tamar Bucci Spartan Team to the 2022 FENWAY PARK SPARTAN STADION.

All of us at Salon Monet are asking our clients to send healing thoughts and/or prayers to Sophia, our evening assistant. Sophia and her family were in a horrific car accident while on vacation and she will not be able to work in the near future.
