People thought I was crazy quitting my government job of 19 years to "DO NAILS"
I've learned over the years not to do anything
without praying first! You see me now but I've
been "DOING NAILS" since 8th grade. The path I
took to get here was full of twist, turns, sacrifices
and WAITING until it was my turn. Well my turn
has arrived! I've got my faith in my pocket, my
skills and talent in my hands and I'm working
EVERYDAY. Like many other nail techs, I'm the
accountant, web developer, admin assisignt,
social media manager and nail artist. Being a
solopenuer ain't easy but I LOVE what I do and it
never feels like work. Ok the social media part
does feel like work most days, lol. Y'all get the
point 🤣 Faith without works is dead, let's
keep working y'all.

I’ve struggled with this for most of my life. You have to take care of you FIRST! You aren’t good too or for anyone if you aren’t good to YOU. You also have to let other pour into your cup and not just drink from it.
