When we started, the goal was creating a low-maintenance color that worked with her natural gray instead of fighting it all the time.

Her before had about 6 months of grow out and still no harsh lines. That’s why I will always start with suggest blending over full coverage.

Using strategically placed highlights + lowlights, we mimic her natural light and dark patterning for a soft, dimensional result that keeps the hair healthier over time.

Now she only comes in 2–4 times a year!

For real though, this past year was a whirlwind. I traveled more than I remembered, had plenty of adventures in and around GR, gave some pretty epic hair transformations, and fell a little more in love with my home along the way.

The calendar year might be over, but I don’t really do the “new year” until spring. With the holidays wrapping up, I’m resting, reflecting, and planning, so when spring shows up, I can step into what’s next! Whether your new year starts now or when the equinox hits, I hope it’s filled with love, joy, and a little fun. Happy 2026!

As we close 2025 I’ve been reflecting on my 22 years behind the chair. So much has changed in that time, but one of the thing that remains consistent is the joy I get from helping someone feel better about themselves. There are times that I think my job is so superficial, but when a client looks in the mirror and lights up exclaiming “I love it!”, it becomes about something so much more. Something that matters. Happieness. A good hair day boosts mood and lifts the spirit. I’m more than a seasoned hairdresser, I’m a day maker, and I’m going into 2026 with that energy. What energy are you bringing?
