Property taxes: I did not write this, but it was posted locally. "A CITIZEN'S RIGHTEOUS TESTIMONY I'm being taxed on money I never made. Let that sink in. I bought my property
outright for $60,000 in 2015. Now the county says it's worth $246,000. Did I sell it? No. Did I make a profit? No. Did I get a check for
$246,000? No. But my taxes jumped like I did. That's the problem. This isn't income. This isn't
cash. This is a number someone decided on paper
- and now I'm being billed for it. If my stock portfolio doubles, I don't pay taxes until I sell. If my income doesn't increase, I don't magically owe more income tax. So why does owning a home work differently? Why am I being
taxed on unrealized gains? A house isn't just an investment - it's where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money. You don't truly own something if you can be taxed out of it. This isn't about "services" or "inflation." It's about being charged for value you never received And people are starting to notice." Best BBQ around better get out and grab some while it’s available!!!
Good evening everyone. Once again this past week or so there apparently was an issue with the voicemail box being full for the barbershop. This was not the case at all. The mailbox gets cleaned out every night after returning all the calls. Finally after much troubleshooting for a few weeks, I believe the issue has been resolved. I apologize for anyone that was unable to get ahold of me. This has been very difficult and hopefully over with now. Please pass this information along to anyone that has had difficulty reaching me for appointments. As always I can be reached here on the barbershop page or text messages can also be sent to the barbershop phone number.
Hello everyone. It has been brought to my attention that over the last few weeks phone call messages to the shop have not been appearing on my messages. I apologize if anybody has called and left a message that was not returned. I assure everyone I always return phone calls within a few hours usually, but never more than 24 hours later. If I have not returned your call it is only because I did not receive the message. I’m not quite sure what the issue is. I am currently troubleshooting with cellular provider to get the issue fixed asap. In the mean time, please, if I do not return any messages left after 24 hours please feel free to call again or stop in the shop. I apologize for any inconveniences. Unfortunately technology isn’t always perfect and this is out of my control currently. Please pass the message along to anyone you may have known or know who has called and experienced not receiving a call back after leaving a message. All messages received will be returned within 24 hours. Hopefully this wil be l resolved soon. Again I apologize and appreciate the patience and understanding. Thank you all and happy holidays.
The Rusty Razor will be closed Thursday November 24 through Monday November 29. All calls, texts, and Facebook requests will be returned on Monday the 29th to schedule appointments. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
October 26, 2006 The Rusty Razor Barbershop had its first day in business. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 15 years ago today. Thank you to everyone who helped make The Rusty Razor a success over the last 15 years. I look forward to help keep everyone looking good all trimmed up for another 15 years.
