HUGE Congratulations to for his recent commitment to Occidental College where he will be continuing his baseball career and getting an excellent education!🥳🎉👏🏽

Last year I started working with Mateo for a low back flareup that was hindering him when he was playing catcher during Fall ball. After only a few visits consisting of spinal adjusting and movement therapy, pain levels were back to normal and we each felt comfortable with his return to sport.

Fast forward to this year and a hamstring strain brought him back into the office. We closely monitored this and co-managed some treatments to fill in some gaps with his physical therapy sessions.

It is always a treat to work with Athletes of all levels and abilities, but it is much easier when people, like Mateo, are interested and involved in their own therapy to do whatever they can to self manage and stay on the field.

Best of luck at the college level, only a matter of time before we have an MLB jersey hanging in the office! Until then we will be repping 😎⚾️🧢

Congratulations to the Las Lomas Knights 2023 Football team for finishing tied for 1st place in league play last night! This year they beat Campolindo for the first time since 2010 (Dr. Stom’s sophomore season) and have out up high scoring offensive numbers week in and week out. These guys work hard every day and do a fantastic job representing their community!

We will have to sponsor more golf tournaments in the future😀

Recently, Champion Chiropractic & Muscle Therapy was a Hole sponsor for the Las Lomas Football Foundation fundraiser. The day was eventful as our scramble took 3rd place, and Dr. Stom won the Longest Drive competition!

Today the Knights are undefeated with a 7-0 record and we are rooting for them to continue that streak!

Meet the Doc!

Dr. Stom, also known as Derrick, was born in Walnut Creek and grew up playing Football, Baseball, and doing Taekwondo.

Dr. Stom played football into college at Army West Point and the Nevada Wolf Pack. After several injuries on the football field, some of the only relief attained was through various Soft Tissue techniques from his local Chiropractor. It was through this trial of treatment that the dream of beginning patient care formed.

After graduating from Palmer West and helping run the Soft Tissue club, Dr. Stom worked as the Clinic Director at Onsight Chiro before deciding to open his own practice. Today, Dr. Stom has taken over 100 continuing education hours worth of seminars for his own curiosity and the benefit of each of the patients he is able to treat.
