before the bell rang. I knew taking courses just to learn how to apply makeup wasn't really necessary, but it was important to me to expand my knowledge much further in the cosmetic industry. Meeting David Nicholas inspired me to learn about reconstructive and corrective makeup. I felt that if I expanded my knowledge in this way, I could help those with low self-esteems, or insecurities due to physical ailments feel beautiful and confident with themselves. I've worked with clients with port wine stains, alopecia, severe bruising, facial deformation, severe scarring; all these individuals want is to feel good about themselves, and if that is possible with a little cream, powder and contour and compassion, then I feel that I have carried through a great service. As far as my business name, my brother actually helped me come up with ENVY; my first and middle initial, N and V. Thank you for reading!
