Hi! I’m Yulia, the founder of Botanical Bath, and I would love to take a moment to introduce myself.

My journey began in 2023 when I stepped away from my career as a scientist to stay home with my two young children. Looking for a creative outlet, I decided to channel my passion for science into crafting handmade bath and body products. I loved it so much that I haven’t stopped since!

In 2024, I officially established my business and named it “Botanical Bath”. I believe that bath time is an important part of our daily lives, and I strive to create products that make that time even more enjoyable. All my products are made with high-quality ingredients in small batches right in my home lab.

In addition to my scientific background, I also became a certified skincare formulator this year! The knowledge I gained while earning my diploma has given me the confidence to create truly safe and functional products. I genuinely enjoy every moment of this entrepreneurial journey, and my biggest hope is that my products bring a little brightness to my customers’ daily self-care routines.

Finally, here are some fun facts about me: I love hiking and traveling, my favorite animals are killer whales, my happy place is any beach, and my favorite ice cream flavor is banana 😊

I officially became a certified skincare formulator! 🤩
It took me more than three years to complete the Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation course, but I did it! 🎉🎉🎉
I'm so proud of myself because, despite everything that happened during that time - having my second child, moving, setting up my home lab, and starting my small business - I still had the determination and motivation to continue studying and formulating.

My final project was creating an emulsion of my choice, for example, a facial cream or a body lotion. I formulated a day cream for dry or mature skin with papaya and watermelon fruit extracts, which both provide deep skin hydration and are rich in vitamin C. The other amazing, skin-loving ingredients that I chose were mango butter, apricot kernel oil, cucumber seed oil, raspberry seed oil, and Jasmine floral water🌸My skin loved this cream😊
