Want to know how to get your makeup smooth and seamless? It’s skin prep along with keeping up with a skincare routine. Sometimes I skip out on primers because I know I prepped the skin very well. If you start with a dirty, dry, flaky canvas the makeup will not stick and will not be smooth. The skin prep routine I do for everybody is simple. 1. Cleanser 2. Toner 3. Serum *optional/as needed 4. Eye Cream *optional. Usually used on mature clients. 5. Moisturizer 6. Primer (usually used on my clients with large pores, oily skin or extremely dry skin) Please give your skin prep time to settle before applying makeup. During this time I am usually sanitizing makeup that I’ll be using or placing my brushes.
