After almost 9 years of studying herbs and naturopathy, all I can say is how in awe of God I am — and how humbled. There is still so much to learn. But I’m grateful to be sharing this knowledge of His creation with you.

In Korean culture, we naturally ate plants and used roots as medicine. Dandelion, burdock root, jujube, ginger, ginseng — it was just how we ate. But because it was so normal to me, it was easily forgotten. Life moved on, and that knowledge sat on a shelf in my brain for years.

In 2018 — a year before I got pregnant with my first — God started bringing it all back. Dandelion kimchi every spring with my grandmother. The root decoctions my mom made when we were small. These little details kept rising up in my spirit.

So I dove in. Thousands of hours of self-study eventually led me to formal training and certification at the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism. I’ve been mentored by Paul Bergner, who has been practicing herbalism for 50 years. I’ve studied under Dr. Nicole Apelian and have continued my studies in various herbal and naturopathic programs.

And I’m still learning — because you’ll never be able to learn every single plant out there, lol. God made a lot of plants 😅

Almost two years ago, I felt a nudge to start posting. Honestly? I wrestled with Him. I genuinely dislike being on my phone. I hate how it pulls us away from real life. So I stayed inconsistent for a long time. But God.

About 6–7 months ago, I heard Him whisper: It’s time to be consistent. This isn’t about you. This is about what I delivered you from. This is about being salt and light to the world.

Some of you know this. Many don’t. The Lord delivered me from all kinds of rebellion — witchcraft I thought was innocent, new age practices, and relying on astrology as my daily guide. I remember reading witchcraft books as a young girl and seeing how many herbs were woven into those spells and incantations.

After years of healing—and a few other assignments in between—God showed me that there is no better person to expose a lie than someone who once believed it.

“It is time to proclaim My name. I am the Creator. I created all of this on the third day. Go and proclaim it in My name.”

So I stayed consistent. I stayed obedient. Even on the days I didn’t want to. Even when you love doing something, there are just going to be things you don’t like about it.

But I love educating. I love teaching. I love helping people. That’s the real passion.

So here I am. Social media just happens to be the outlet God wants to use in this season.

So many of you have shared how you’ve been blessed by my educational teachings, and I’m so grateful I get to be even a small part of your journey. My hope is that you come to see the beauty of everything God placed in creation to heal us. He put over 100 healing constituents in a single plant. That is not an accident. That is design — and a design always needs a Designer.

I also hope this can be a corner of social media where you learn from a place of a sound mind and love — not from a spirit of fear. Because God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear, and so much of wellness culture does exactly that. (2 Timothy 1:7)

This is all about stewardship. Doing the best you can with the temple that God has given you, and then in faith, giving the rest to God. ♥️
