Her hair is soooo dense and all that length had some serious weight!
She was over the discomfort and wanted something light and flowy to start off the year.

After getting everyone elses color right for the holidays I had to get my self looking right. 😂

We did a 2n on the roots with a few weaved slices added throughout to give it that beautiful deep contrast.

I am so in love with how much life her curls have now! 😍
She was scared she would lose her curls if we cut it. I dont think she even realized how curly her hair actually is!👩🏻‍🦰
Her hair just air dried as i cut and it fell into this perfect tousle of messy curls. A low maintenance cut is what she ask for, and a low maintenance cut that plays perfect for her hair is what she received. 🥰

THIS GIRL HAS SO MUCH HAIR!! Why do both my besties have more hair on their head than any one person should? 😭😂
I was so excited to see her that I forgot to get a picture until we were in the bowl. 😫
We removed the pink from her hair in the shampoo bowl because it only takes a few minutes for the color to pull. Not wanting to lift her hair anymore then it was, each section was rinsed as soon as I couldn't see pink.
With advanced coloration I was able to use two formulas and one process for her all over color. All the lightened areas were done with a 1:1 ratio. Allowing me to skip the "filler" color and still getting the depth we wanted.
Then we topped it all off with her custom colored halo extension! 🥰🥰🥰

Her locs are so full and light weight! I love how different everyones journey is, her next transition in her journey is saying goodbye to color. Embracing all of her natural beauty and I am living for it!

I truly do love a challenge. 😁
This beautiful soul came to me for the first time today. She started her own locs and has been maintaining them her self. Obviously it has been a few months since she has been able to get to it.
Maintaining your own locs is seriously hard work, and I am so glad she decided to let me take over!
Now she is feeling fresh and fabulous, and I get to gaze at the before and afters with so much satisfaction. 😁🥰
