Our first annual Ladies Night will go down in the books as a huge success! Thank you to everyone that made tonight happen. From my absolutely amazing staff, to the wonderful vendors who trusted me when I said, “please come, it will be fun, & worth your while!” To the best clients a salon owner could ever ask for❤️ and a super special thanks to my niece Briana who helped me plan & host the evening, to Karri & Starr for cooking & baking for 2 days to put out an unbelievably beautiful spread for all to enjoy! I can’t tell you how happy you all have made me. Can’t wait for next year😃

Update:
Procedure #3 is done! Hopefully this was the last. They took the skin graft from the right side behind my ear and fixed my hole on the left. My head is still very tender in the back where I had all those staples from the scalp reconstruction, so I can’t lay flat on my back, or on my left or right. Needless to say it’s not easy trying to sleep. Other than that, all is good! I have my post op next Wednesday morning and if all is well I’m planning on going back to work on Tuesday the 30th! I miss you Salon Brea family💕 I do have to say my home nursing staff is amazing! They don’t let their mama out of their sight!

Hi everyone! I wanted to reach out with an update and thank everyone for all the prayers that have been sent my way.
I had my post op appointment today and the doctor was very happy with the way I’m healing! I do however have to go back in on Monday the 15th for another procedure. They are going to take skin from behind my right ear & skin graft to the left ear. Hopefully about 10 days after this one I can get back to Salon Brea. I miss you all so much!

Update:
Most of you know I had part 2 of my surgery on Friday April 28th. This one was to reconstruct the area where they did the mohs procedure. Because of the misdiagnosis for 4 + years, the area was very large, so large that we may have one more surgical procedure next week. I will know for sure next Wednesday May 10th when I go for my post op.
In the meantime please send lots of prayers for healing my way. This was definitely way more invasive then I thought. I spend my days either sleeping in bed or on the couch. I can only lay on my right side because I have at least 40 staples in my head on the left side, and a wound that is not completely closed. Not sure why my jaw is so sore but my meals have been mashed potatoes, soup, & oatmeal because I can’t chew anything. Those of you who know me best know that this is the worst part☹️ I want to thank everyone who has sent flowers, dropped off meals, sent cards, & texts & phone calls! Thank you from the bottom of my heart & please keep the prayers coming for a bit longer💕
