My baby girl is in the middle school now 🥲

Reeled in by love 🎣 Anchored in Christ ⚓️

More times than not I get insecure about the pictures sent to me by our media team. The lighting can reveal more than I’d like sometimes up on that stage.. then I have to stop and remember the why. I’m not up there to put on a show. I’m not up there to look perfect. I’m up there because I’m a walking testimony of how transformative our God is. I’m on that stage to show my daughter what a woman of God was created to do. I’m up there because regardless of what is happening in our lives during this time of transition, He is still good. Watching my daughter make the choice to walk up to the alter and receive prayer while I praise and worship Him over her and Zaida is something I will never forget. I’m so proud of the little girl she is. And I’m proud of myself, as her mother. I have made so many mistakes I am not perfect, but the best thing I could have done was teach her about the perfect one. The one that will love us relentlessly, no matter how many times we mess up. The one that forgives. The one who saves. She’s brought me to Jesus more times than I can count, but there’s nothing I love hearing more than when she says, “mom, can we worship?”

I’m doing a good job. I am someone my kids will be proud of. Thank you 🥹♥️
