Hey Y'all, I just wanted to introduce myself and my new adventure to you! I'm Miranda Herr, I'm an independent stylist at DC Haircrafters in Warsaw where I also am the Operations Manager. I have been in the industry for 23 years, and I LOVE IT! All of it. My favorite part of this industry is the connections that I make.

I love helping other industry professionals, if that be on the business side, a formulation brain storming session, or with the tools that we use. That's where my new adventure comes in. I am the Northern Indiana Rep with .

Kanzen-sei Scissors offers tools, sharpening services, and education to make our lives easier behind the chair. This opportunity presented itself to me, and I knew it was going to be the next chapter in my journey. Having been behind the chair for 23 years and nearly 20 of those years having the same person take care of my scissors and their maintenance, I didn't take it lightly when it was time to find someone new to help with that. and the crew at KS filled that need and then some. I have been educated on things I didn't even know I should have been, and have tools that I wish I would have had when I started. Life behind the chair would have been easier!

I have found great success behind the chair, and when I accepted the position with KS I had to make some of the hardest decisions of my career. I am now behind the chair 3 or 4 days a week, and on the road sharing KS with others 2 days a week. (I have a wait-list currently if you would like to sit in my chair that I am happy to add you to.)

Currently behind the chair I am obsessing over haircuts and blow outs! On the road with KS my obsession is meeting other stylists and helping them find the perfect tools for their tool box. Outside of this work, I have been traveling and cooking! My husband Andy and I are currently hooked on the show Alone, and convincing ourselves that we could totally live in the wilderness successfully! Anyone who knows me even a little bit knows that may be a stretch!

I'm excited for what's ahead both professionally and personally.

I took a big leap of faith and stepped outta my comfort zone, and have accepted a sales rep position with Kanzen-sei Scissors! I am stoked to be a part of this company. We have some amazing shears to meet your needs behind the chair, clippers that I am wondering why I didn't have sooner, accessories to make your life even better doing what you love! Most importantly we also offer sharpening!

As your Northern Indiana Rep I am a call or message away, and would love to come in and get your shears in their best working order, show you some other tools, and get to know ya! If you aren't in my area I am still here to help! I can either hook you up with one of our other amazing reps or I can just take care of ya!

I am happy to come pick up your items that need sharpened, get them to the guys at the shop who are incredibly skilled at what they do, and then bring them back to you once they are finished. Only have one pair of shears, no biggie I have demos that I can leave with you.

I will be out and about on Tuesday and Thursday's, and you will still see me behind the chair Monday, Wednesday and Friday at DC Haircrafters.
