Here are some simple tips to help keep your hair strong and healthy during these cold winter months!
1.) Never go out with wet hair. Cold air can cause water inside the hair shaft to expand and freeze, leading to breakage.
2.) Get regular trims. Trim your hair every 6-8 weeks to remove damaged ends, especially if you’re prone to split ends.
3.) *This one is great in any season*
Wash your hair less often -not every day-. Reduce washing frequency to avoid stripping your hairs natural oils, and use dry shampoo between washes.
4.) When you do wash your hair, use a lower water temperature. Avoid, super hot, steaming showers when washing your hair. Wash with lukewarm water instead to prevent drying out your hair.
5.) Incorporate hair oil into your hair routine. Apply the oil to the ends of your hair to seal in moisture and reduce static.
