We switched up her normally red base for something more violet which actually grows out a little softer in the summer on her hair !

A fun violet based gloss on her ends took her from copper to a more neutral tone for us to play with next time !!

Spring break my kids spend with my mom out of state + I typically stay behind to work on house projects.

For the first part of the week that’s what I did but yesterday I came down to Indy early to get my hair done by my girl @jessbeblonde_ and let me tell you it was so needed !!

It was SO nice to be the client for once and catch up with friends I haven’t seen in years, see the beautiful *new* Witch Hazel Salon space + get my hair done.

I’m notorious for not taking the time to get my own hair done but let me tell you what, it is so worth it. So if there’s some self care you’ve been putting off here’s your sign to just DO IT.

This babe has gorgeous thick, textured natural hair and that would’ve normally terrified me to put extensions in.

My goal with extensions is always to look the most natural and the only way to do that is to match my guest’s texture + density.

🌞 dampen hair with FRESH water before hopping in a pool or the ocean. ✨bonus points ✨ spritz in a leave in conditioner to block out the chlorine + salt

🌞 don’t twist wet hair up into a tight bun. Instead use a wide tooth comb to get out major tangles and pull into a braid.

🌞 be sure to do a Malibu and deep conditioning treatment when you get home !

Mega blonding session today! Full head of my bold + blended placements followed by tipping out the dropped out hair with some wet balayage.

Then a custom gloss with a root tap to keep it soft as it grows out.

In order to best serve you I have simplified my service menu. This also brings along a price increase. This goes in effect immediately, but I will be honoring past prices for guests who booked before the increase until May 1st.

But why the increase ?
✨This new service menu puts focus on lived-in, low maintenance hair that allows you to go longer in between visits and eliminates “add on” pricing. The high quality products I use to create my signature looks have increased exponentially over the past year. In order to keep the level of experience you’ve come to enjoy I must raise my prices to reflect this.

✨Time. The art of hair has changed + newer techniques require more time to perform. I work best when I’m not double booked + believe that provides the best guest experience. I spend a lot of time on continuing my education to become an expert in blonding, dimensional color, and extensions. The increase will support this.

⚡️Pricing isn’t personal. It’s business. ⚡️
