27 years ago today God open the doors for us to make Spectrum Day Spa a reality. Thank you to our amazing clients for making this all possible, without you, we would be just another salon. I want to personally thank my team: Amy Elliott, Sharon Roberts, Bernadette Kelsey and Diana Hartman for being not only amazing women but exceptional professionals. Thank you all!!!!

If there were an award for a salon having the most amazing clients, Spectrum Day Spa would win, hands down!!! Thank you all so much for being so understanding as we reschedule your appointments and move forward with a new "normal". You're the BEST!!!!!!

We will be opening with a new "normal" and need your help. When coming to your appointment we ask that you:

*Please wear a ear loop face mask to you appointment. We will not be able to provide one for you.

*Please do not enter the building until your scheduled appointment.

*Please know it's important that you come to your appointment by yourself.

*Coming to your appointment sick is not an option.

*We ask that if your health is already high risk, you wait awhile longer to see us. Your health is more important.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone and making our corner of the world a more beautiful place.

We have an opening date, May 11!!
For those of you who have appointments already scheduled for that week and the following weeks, please know those remain in place. To our clients who need to reschedule due to missed appointments, we ask for your patience as we will be doing our best to accommodate everyone. If you have not been contacted by May 11, we ask that you please call the salon to schedule your appointment.

Today (4-17) at 2;30 the Governor extended the stay at home order for two weeks, if this holds true we will reopen May1. We pray you are all staying safe and healthy and we look forward to the day when we can see you all again!

I received this email today from Keune, the hair color company we use and thought I would share.

Keune Haircosmetics manufactures hair color exclusively for salon professionals. This includes Tinta Color, Semi Color, So Pure Color, 1922 by J.M. Keune Color and, most recently, Color Chameleon.

With the recent COVID-19 health crisis, we have all witnessed creative people searching for creative ways to earn money and service their clients, including providing professional color for the client to self-apply at-home. Keune USA does not sell hair color for home use by non-professionals and does not encourage or support the promotion of this activity by stylists, salons or distributors associated with our brand.

Keune hair color should only be applied by a professional stylist for the safety and protection of all parties involved, including the customer, stylist, salon, distributor and Keune. Professional-only products are not labeled for consumer use, thereby creating a liability that prohibits sale to consumers. We encourage everyone to abide by these guidelines as Keune can offer no assistance when Keune color is put in the hands of non-professionals.

Like you, we look forward to the day when salons are once again open to perform these much needed color services. Until then, please stay safe, stay healthy and follow the rules.
