Here is where all this nightmare began. December, 7th 2022. Finally one more box checked off our incredibly long list.
We are beyond exhausted and frustrated but, we are so grateful for how God has provided for us along this journey. We have been blessed with his light along this long dark tunnel, called, the restoration.

So many have said, When it's all done it will have been worth it. It wouldn't matter how beautiful we made it or how much it is worth. It has taken more from us than any earthly value could ever be. What we will have gained is the knowledge that even in our darkest moments, our faith in God has stayed strong. We have definitely questioned his plan, but that's nothing new. We make up for it in obedience. Haha.

We have had to work non stop. We work our jobs and then we work on the building or have to work on paperwork. Sooooo much paperwork. We will never get back the year in a half we will have lost. The mental stress has been completely overwhelming. It has not been easy but we have seen the good that God has provided. He is our strength to keep moving forward. I have definitely felt times he has carried me.

We know it's part of His plan. We don't have to understand it. We don't have to like it or agree with it. We just have to know this isn't about us. We are just his workers trying to do his will. To play our part in his bigger plan. Our faith hasn't wavered. That is the most important thing we have learned during the past year. We are happy to say that we have chosen to trust him in all things. We didn't do it without stressing about it or trying to fix it, or questioning what he wanted us to do. We are so far from perfect. But, we didn't lose our faith in God. It feels like a win for that reason.

Hopefully, we can start to do fun things again this Spring!!

In 6 weeks, May 1st, Bar'Lon will be back home. It's going to look a lot different. The drywall made me a bit sad. I will miss the old salon. I'm also excited about the new look. We are so excited to be back in our own space.
