While RI salons are allowed to reopen starting Monday, June 1; I have made the decision to not reopen my books at this time. I do not feel that I would be able to ensure the health and well-being of my clients or myself without risk as it is impossible to social distance and provide hair services. While I do not think now is the time to be getting your hair done, I completely understand if you need to go elsewhere. Please feel free to ask for recommendations—I’d much rather you go somewhere I trust than just anywhere 😊😊. I hope you are all staying safe and well and enjoying the weather as we get close to summer!

This doesn’t mean I’ll definitely reopen on 5/24...my first concern is the health and safety of everyone.

✨Big News✨Excited, scared, nostalgic, terrified, confident, and feeling maybe just a tad nutty—- All my feelings for the upcoming 2020! I have made the decision to return (yet again) to school full time to become a clinical therapist, and eventually obtain my PhD in clinical psychology. Many of you know that I love school and have talked for some time about getting my PhD. I’m so excited to be heading back into academia—it’s been 7 years! With that being said, this exciting choice comes with some difficult decisions—because I will be in school full time, I will not be able to do hair full time. Therefore, I have crunched the numbers for scaling back my clientele and will be closing my studio at the end of this year.

To do this I am happily returning to my Sunny & Shears family in Warwick. I will be sending out an email to all of my clients with more info. I am still booking online and providing all the same hair services as I have been! I am so grateful for my experience as a Sola Suite owner, and if I could have all my dreams at once I would keep my adorable little studio open, but there is a season for everything and I’m so excited for this next chapter! Exciting news!!! I will be doing a long-term guest artist spot at Sunny and Shears Salon and United Ink Tattoo! Starting next Wednesday I will be hanging out at 1250 Post Road in Warwick RI and cooking up some rainbow hair goodness!
I’ll just be doing color projects there, and all projects will depend on a consultation (can be same day). Appointments are preferred and allow me to make sure I can give you the best hair we can! Walk ins will be taken on a case-by-case basis.
