Cysts, also known as Epidermal Inclusion Cysts, are caused by an occluded hair follicle and sebaceous gland. Cysts typically look like a skin-colored lump under the skin with an overlying opening called a punctum. They occur most commonly on the trunk but can be seen anywhere on the body. Most cysts don’t require any treatment. However, if they become inflamed they can be very painful and require incision and drainage or even antibiotics.

Athlete’s Foot is often itchy and will appear as white scale over the surface of the sole and sides of the feet.

Acne scarring is caused by acne even if you don’t pick your acne. The best way to prevent acne scarring is to treat your acne as soon as possible. However, if you do develop acne scars there are treatment options such as chemical peels, microneedling and laser resurfacing.
