Now before you clown my toes hear me out! Long post so hold on. 😅 Can WE or at least some of us agree that acrylic on toes is a thing of the past. Like many nail techniques this too shall pass 😂😂. Story time: I became a nail tech in 2020 and I’ve learned sooo much. I’ve been getting acrylics since I was 15 and that was 15 years ago! I have learned in my career that there are many ways to achieve the look and it’s imperative that you choose health FIRST! 🥼 So I became a guinea pig for the Nail Lab. 🧪 I’ve been sporting my long acrylic toe a little under 2 years. I’ve always loved my large canvas of nail beds and because they get long and break I had to bring in reinforcements! The infamous acrylic. I was not a fan of gel polish on my feet either. The removal was always my worst fear. Even as a tech who can remove I was either not in the mood to be folding myself up or I just didn’t want thin sore toenails from filling. I gave in! Still! I had problems with acrylic looking gross and gravity pulling my nail into a curve that left a nasty hump where the infill would be. So the other day I did a thing. I had broken my big toe and it was cracked and split on the side. No pain but annoying. I also felt gross as my pedi is a month old. (A curse of gel polish lol less frequent pedis). So I soaked off and remembered that I have all the nail goodies still from my annual NAIL CAMP trip. Behold @envoguenailsofficial CBS (connect,build,shine) builder in a bottle! 💫 and a little inspo from @omisnails_official_ 🩺🧪✅ I cut that nail down, soaked that gel off, and because I’ve always wanted a full set of acrylic toes but couldn’t bring myself to it, THIS is my game changer. I did a builder gel full set and it’s nothing short of beautiful! I don’t have to soak off. The gel is flexible and not hard on nail beds in shoes The charms are ON! And I’m NEVER going back to acrylic again. Thank me later beloved!
