I’m Jontae Johnson!

The creator of Mahoganii Locs Loc N Twist Puddin where L.O.C.S. stands for Lovin On Curly Strands. I have been a licensed cosmetologist serving the beauty industry since 2003, and certified as a practitioner of hair loss and scalp disorders since 2014.

I began this Journey back in 2009 when I had locs and was not pleased with the results that ANY products from the local beauty supply stores gave me!

Because I am a licensed senior cosmetologist I have the benefit of knowing what the hair and scalp needs. I also have the advantage of hearing FIRST HAND from my clientele what the natural hair community desires from a product.

So, I did my research on ingredients that offer the hair and scalp what it needs to give the natural hair community the results WE desire! After YEARS of experimenting, I created a formula that gives a GREAT hold WITH OUT leaving the hair crunchy or flaky which makes it PERFECT for loc maintenance, twist outs, and wash n go’s! It infuses the hair with MEGA moisture and nutrients, leaving the hair with an illuminating shine, WITHOUT causing build up. That makes it PERFECT to use during any protective styling! Honorable mention, it promotes increased thickness and growth, and leaves the hair smelling and feeling DIVINE!

Our mission as a company is to provide families in the natural hair community with ONE product with WHOLE ingredients that actually achieves the results we all desire and that works for the ENTIRE family!
