I met Marquita Weddle Marshall at UDC, and she saw leadership in me before I fully claimed it for myself. Years later, she pushed me again — “just do you” — and that moment helped shape the path I walk today.

On February 21st, Cosmetics & Conversations held its very first pilot — an intimate gathering of women, stories, reflection, and release.

What started as an idea…
became a circle.

A space where women could sit down, take off the armor, and be seen — fully.

There were conversations.
There was laughter.
There were moments of truth.

And somewhere between the beauty and the vulnerability…
healing began.
