In my own research of collecting client data 🤓 I realized the most whimsy people work in the medical field, who would have known?! I traveled to my home place VIRGINIA ♥️ to hairstyle these lovely animal doctors 🩺 for a wedding. The bride’s inspo was a video game, wish I could remember the name of it but everything was maximalist and ethereal 🧝🏼‍♀️🪉🕊️

Later, I ended the day with the Frederick Wellness Professionals Connections Group 💗☮️ and tried out this new PEMF terahertz machine on my feet and scalp! It felt really good after a long day… 👣

Elements 2026 - Day 1

I’ll be transparent, this day was craaazy! The rainstorms halted a large portion of our day. We were evacuated from the festival, but the kindness of strangers at EDM festivals never ceases to amaze me. Someone lent us their camping space to finish clients.

Did you know that the EDM community has PLUR principles? Peace Love Unity Respect. This is a huge reason why I will probably always go to EDM festivals 🌎☮️ the values.

The downpours and lightning got pretty bad, so I was impressed that through the chaos S*k Braids - Buffalo Braids modeled an enormous capacity for taking care of not only their business but also each team member and client all while being strong, positive, and graceful. 💗

Though there were many challenges, Day 1 had lots of team bonding, and I enjoyed spending time with each one of my clients. Ending the day with art & music was everything I needed & so much more! 🍒🎶

Elements 2026 Day 0 “The Pre-Party”:

The official braiders for Elements Music & Arts Festival 2026! I’m so honored to have braided for a second year in a row with the S*k Braids - Buffalo Braids team at the Unicorn Lounge. 🧞‍♀️🦄

My clients were amazing and I enjoyed listening to their personal stories & preparing them for their journey through the Elements with braids. 🧬💧🌞 The music, people, & vibes were incredible!

Water was so humbling each day and definitely a huge part of the experience this year ☯️ 🌊🌀

The service is called “Long Hair Trim” when you book online & it’s specifically for my long haired girlies that want JUST the dead ends trimmed off. I too have gotten too much of my length cut before 🙈 and I know how challenging it is to find a hair stylist that you can fully trust with your length! I looove my long hair so much, so I understand the feelings. 💗
