Happy New Year Our Facebook Fans!!! Been so long since our last post but 2014 through 2016 has found us going through a lot of transitions/relocations.

As we start the New Year let's remember to also wash our wigs. Wigs just like when we wear our natural hair pick up dust and with the sprays we use on them in the long run become dirty which can in the long run affect the health of our skin (especially face) when the wig gets in contact with it.

Moreover, a good clean wig completed your look. Makes you look good!!!

On our page we have previously shared how to wash wigs properly.

***The tip for the day - Remember to shape your wig back into its original style while it's still wet. Take a look at the pictures of the two wigs I was washing today. It becomes difficult to reshape or restyle once the wig has dried out.

Benefits of WiggingIt Properly

After taking off my cornrows yesterday, I realized that my hair has grown and is much healthier than it was three years ago when I stopped using chemicals to go natural.

Since 2013 I have been wearing wigs but had to learn how to wear them correctly in order to protect my hair.

We have previously posted tips on how to WigIt and take care of your precious wigs but today just wanted to encourage everyone to never underestimate the tips below when WiggingIt.

1. Wash and deep condition hair regularly, I follow a two week schedule for my hair. Find a very good shampoo and conditioner that will not strip your hair of its natural oils but help to keep them locked into your hair.

2. Trim your split ends on a regular basis. When you regularly trim your hair it will grow again very soon.

3. Braid your hair, simple cornrows with your own hair going straight to the back or middle of your head into order to protect your hair.

4. Always wear a wig cap, there's a huge difference when one wears a wig on a regular basis without a cap. Wig cap protects your hair line from breaking and also protects your hair from running against the wigs
