Hi, I am Anna the founder of the SKN bar and creator of BLENDS skincare. My passion for skincare and beauty and the need for effective skincare solutions are what brought me on my entrepreneurial journey. Coming from a biochemistry background, academic business management, multi-state board-certified Master Aesthetician, and over 15 years of national and international work experience in corrective skincare, my mission to bring new, honest, and effective skincare solutions was born years ago.
After years of working for international and national brands, I have tried it all! Yet I always struggled to find skincare solutions that were simple to maintain and use yet delivered results without the need to layer multiple products & spend tons of money and time. As a consumer and a professional provider found the need to combine my knowledge, long-time experience, and passion for natural beauty; I have been on this journey since 2016 researching, formulating, and testing the newest and finest world up-to-date skincare ingredients and techniques to bring and maintain a personalized and customized skincare corrective solutions.
I crafted my signature protocols for Results-Driven Treatments to best fit any skin condition and concern yet my belief in customized skincare treatments “including skincare ingredients and techniques inside the treatment room “is implemented in each Facial treatment not only by each client. From personal experience, our skin is never the same every skin has a personality that is affected by environment, food, lifestyle, hormones, stress… and it is essential to understand it to be able to correct it and enhance it from within.
Getting to understand your skin personality and building a healthy strong relationship is not an easy thing to do but with consistency and the right approach, it becomes a lifestyle more than a routine. 6 Common Mistakes your should avoid in your facial cleansing routine and why ⬇️

💧Using hot water can cause inflammation, dryness and increase pigmentation cool to cold water can calm and smooth your skin boosting firmness.

💋Using makeup wipes will push your makeup deeper into your skin causing congestion and irritation due to vegetable oil and other chemical fillers.

🫧Not washing your skin morning and night is a major one, it’s so important to wash in the morning as our skin sweat, produc oil, and dead skin cells over night plus to all the impurities in the air. At night to remove and detox your skin from any environmental impurities.

🧽 Over-exfoliating using physical exfoliants more than 1-2 times a week could be over stimulating and more damaging to your skin, try to use enzymes for a safer more gentle and healthier exfoliation.

🧴Using the wrong cleanser is the most common one of all, understand your skin’s condition and needs before committing to a facial cleanser, most likely you are using either an over stripping cleanser that strips your skin from its natural oils and break down you natural barriers or a cleanser that is too gentle leaving your skin clogged and heavy.
