We were so thrilled to have Monique Rodriguez of Mielle Organics at the Yeleen Beauty Makerspace earlier this year.
During our conversation, one thing she said really stuck with us:
“No matter what you go through, your circumstances don’t dictate where you’re going.”
That’s such a powerful reminder, especially as an entrepreneur. There are so many parts of the journey that people don’t see, and sometimes sharing those experiences can be just as impactful as sharing the wins.

Step into the lab and become the perfumer at our Parfums Lab Experience.
You’ll learn how top, middle, and base notes work together, explore premium fragrance oils, and blend your own signature scent with guidance from our in-house chemist. Then bottle it, label it, and take it home.

What an incredible experience joining AEO Talks: Advancing Entrepreneurial Innovation alongside an inspiring group of entrepreneurs and innovators from across the region.
A huge thank you to WACIF and AEO for creating a space that celebrated entrepreneurship, connection, and innovation. We’re honored to have represented Yeleen Beauty and introduced attendees to our Parfum Lab Experience, led by our Head Chemist.
Throughout the day, guests stepped into the role of perfumer. Creating their own signature parfum or scented body oil while getting a glimpse into the creativity and science behind product formulation. Seeing so many people connect with the experience reminded us why we do what we do.
To everyone who stopped by our table, shared your story, asked questions, and created with us, thank you. And to the incredible entrepreneurs we had the chance to meet, we’re leaving Martha’s Vineyard inspired by your passion, innovation, and vision.
Here’s to building, collaborating, and creating what’s next!
A time was had at our workshop with young Ward 7 & 8 residents. Part of our mission is to expose cosmetic science and beauty entrepreneurship to people who may not know about these career pathways. Through a local program Young Black and Green we worked with 25 youth sharing how to become a cosmetic chemist, the connection between plants and beauty, and how to make herbal infused body oils.
