My client wanted a little refresh. We brightened her up but left lots of dimension and gave her some extra layers for volume.

Gorgeous!

Definitely not the best before pic but hopefully, you get the idea here....my client has been covering her greys every 5 weeks and little by little, her hair has gotten dark and darker. She wanted to brighten her hair just a smidge but keep her hair close to her natural color. We did 1 round of color pigment remover, which helps to loosen and remove color pigment but wont lift her natural color. Then we covered her greys and toned the ends for a flawless blend! Now she has a rich dimensional color without bleach!

My client has super long and very fine hair. She wanted something summery and fun with more volume and movement but not a tight curl. So we did a braided perm! It came out so nicely! She'll be back in a wrrk for a color retouch and a trim.

Ya know...silicones aren't inherently bad for your hair. You just may not need them.

If you have fine or thin hair, silicones can weigh it down. If you have healthy hair, silicones can block your cuticle and keep moisture from getting in.

Those that can benefit from using silicones are people who chemically treat their hair (color or texture services but not keratin), people who use heat on their hair, or people with frizzy hair. Yes, use the silicones. Just clarify once or twice a month.

Silicones are synthetic polymers that coat the hair. They give you that shiny healthy look and keeps moisture from escaping but they also keep moisture from getting in so clarifying and immediately using moisture is important if you're going to use silicones in your hair routine. Make sure to get into the habit of reading the ingredients that are in your products and understand what they do for you!

One of my clients missed his last appointment. He paid for his sin by bringing me snacks! I'll forgive him.

This time

Haircut shape up!

My client is so stylish and chic...and she needed a cut to reflect that. I think this rounded bob suits her so well!
