🚨This is HUGE!
One of the biggest candy companies in the world is ditching synthetic dyes, Hershey! 🙌
My (Brandon) personal favorite has always been Good & Plenty, and I haven’t been able to enjoy them in years since we started cutting dyes out of our lives. Honestly, we thought candy companies would be the last to jump on board, so seeing Hershey’s make this commitment—alongside Nestlé’s announcement last week—is such a win.
They have committed to remove them my the end of 2027. Do you think they will follow through?🤷♂️
So grateful to be part of this movement! Let’s keep the momentum going! 💪

Something new I just became aware of. Have you seen these stickers?
A coating on fruits and vegetables to prevent spoiling. If you follow a clean whole food diet this coating is concerning. Can it be washed off? Consists of monoglycerides and diglycerides.
From Wikipedia:
📕Diglycerides, generally in a mix with monoglycerides (E471), are common food additives largely used as emulsifiers. The values given in the nutritional labels for total fat, saturated fat, and trans fat do not include those present in mono- and diglycerides.[citation needed]
📕They often are included in bakery products, beverages, ice cream, peanut butter, chewing gum, shortening, whipped toppings, margarine, confections, and some snack products, such as Pringles.

If you’ve ever eaten truly clean you will notice that going back to some of the foods you used to like or enjoy just isn’t the same. You will notice that food tastes saltier and snacks are always sweeter than you remember. Packaged foods and most sweets are loaded with extra sugar and salt and dyes making them more addicting.
