Yes! We can open!! For the next couple weeks, until I can get caught up, I will be operating by appointment only, no walk-ins. All sanitation requirements regarding the work space and tools were already things required in salons, so the notable differences in your visit with me will be the following:
•Requirement of a mask for stylist and recommendation of a mask for clients.
•I will have sanitizer for you to use when you come in for your visit, or you may visit the restroom to wash your hands before we begin.
•I will not be double-booking, so no worries of social distancing here.
•No children unless they’re receiving a service.
•Please wait outside or in your vehicle until the client before you has left. Since I’m doing appointment only, I will be looking out for you, so don’t worry! I won’t leave you sitting out there if I’m free already. 💕
•There will be signs reminding you to practice social distancing and not to visit if you have any symptoms such as fever or cough, which I’m sure you were courteous enough to do pre-pandemic as well. 😜

It will look a bit sparse in the salon, as I have removed all evidence of my kiddos and toys/books for visiting kiddos, as well as magazines to make cleaning quicker. I apologize if it feels a bit standoffish, especially because I love loving on you all, but this is where we are for now. I will be reaching out tomorrow to make appointments. Please be patient with me! Can’t wait to see you all and get back to doing what I love!

I have been updating on my personal page, but wanted to be sure it’s seen here as well. As was most recently laid out by governor, salons are in phase 2 of reopening plan which would put it 2-3 weeks after May 8th (phase 1). I am aware of our county commissioners meeting happening tomorrow where the county may green light opening businesses against that order. As much as I want to get back to work, I do want to confirm with our state board that our county order would protect us from fines/license suspensions. This is my career and my passion. I don’t want to jeopardize that unnecessarily. I will keep you all updated to any reopening news and I’ll be making calls to set up a schedule as soon as I have a firm opening date. Clients who missed appointments during the shut down and regulars will have priority, and I have a running list if you have reached out to me already. Thanks for your support and understanding!
