Mother's Day hits differently since my mom passed away. It has shifted from celebrating her to remembering her. Honoring her memory. Holding space for the years she was here. Giving myself grace for what ever feelings come up throughout the day. And as the years have passed, smiling more through the memories rather crying through them.

For all the Moms out there who no longer have yours here, for those who've lost children, those who want them and cannot, and to those whose relationships with their mom's or children are strained, I see you.

Care for yourself first...
