One of the sneaky ways acne can form on your skin is from your bedding! 🤢 I have been told to change my pillowcases everyday, but who’s got time for that?! I know I sure don’t. I surely don’t have an endless supply of pillow cases either.
That’s where proper a skincare routine is key.
Am: cleanse, tone vitamin C serum, moisturizer, top with SPF
PM: double cleanse, tone, retinol serum, moisturizer. Why double cleanse? First cleanse breaks up and removes makeup, environmental toxins and debris. Second cleanse comes in and removes anything that the first cleanse missed, completely getting them pores clean.

‼️Remember to take time for yourself‼️. As we age, and grow we tend to forget to stop and to take care of ourselves. Lives get busy with jobs, kids, Alaskan summer activities with the never-ending-daylight.
Here are some ways I practice self care. 🧖🏼‍♀️ take a long hot bath
I will take a hot bath with Epsom salt for about an hour. Either watch a show, read a book, or listen to music.
💅🏼 do my nails
I’ll give myself a mani/pedi
💆🏻‍♀️ relaxing massage
Sometimes getting a full massage to help ease them sore tight muscles is just what the doctor ordered
☀️ vitamin D
When the sun is shining I’m on my back patio getting much needed natural vitamin D watching the trees and birds sing
🎼🎤 music
I will put on a playlist for my mood and just let the music speak to my soul

Happy national pet day!!
I want to introduce everyone to my dog 🦮he’s called Dozer, but also goes by Dozerman, Mr. Man, or he will answer to baby, but only from me 🤭 he also thinks he’s a cat 🤦🏻‍♀️
My Tuxedo cat 🐈‍⬛ is Apollo, or also goes by Mr. Sir. He likes to go on walks with us, and also thinks he’s a dog 🤷🏻‍♀️
The little lady of the house 🐈 is Calypso. She is very much the princess of the palace. We call her soft paws because she’s so dainty when she wants attention and climbs on you. Both cats still have their blue eyes.
