Possibly the Most important thing you’ll read this Year...
The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the ‘Peanuts’ comic strip.
You don’t have to actually answer the questions. Just ponder on them. Just read it straight through, and you’ll get the point.
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade’s worth of World Series winners.
How did you do?
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.
These are no second-rate achievers.
They are the best in their fields.
But the applause dies.
Awards tarnish ...
Achievements are forgotten.
Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.
Here’s another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
Easier?
The lesson:
The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money ... or the most awards. They simply are the ones who care the most.
Happy New Year!
Asking for a prayer. My love to everyone who reads this. Let's pray for each other today because prayers are needed right now. If I don't see your name, I'll understand. I ask my family and friends wherever you might be, to kindly post this status for one hour, to whisper a prayer for all of those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, or worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of my family and friends just for moral support. I did it for someone else, and you can, too !
I copied & posted to my wall.
Our world needs prayers, kindness and compassion.
Please pray for Circle, Alaska.

What Is The Main Ingredient of WD-40?
Before you read to the end, does anybody know what the main ingredient of WD-40?
No Cheating.....
WD-40 ~ Who knew!
I had a neighbour who bought a new pickup.
I got up very early one Sunday morning and saw that someone had spray
painted red all around the sides of this beige truck (for some unknown
reason).
I went over, woke him up, and told him the bad news.
He was very upset and was trying to figure out what to do ....
probably nothing until Monday morning, since nothing was open.
Another neighbour came out and told him to get his WD-40 and clean it off.
It removed the unwanted paint beautifully and did not harm his paint
job that was on the truck. I was impressed!
WD-40 who knew?
"Water Displacement #40".
The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and
degreaser to protect missile parts.
WD-40 was created in 1953, by three technicians at the San Diego
Rocket Chemical Company.
Its name comes from the project that was to find a 'Water
Displacement' Compound.
They were finally successful for a formulation, with their fortieth
attempt, thus WD-40. The 'Convair Company' bought it in bulk to
protect their atlas missile parts.
Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40
that would hurt you.
When you read the 'shower door' part, try it. It's the first thing
that has ever cleaned that spotty shower door. If yours is plastic,
it works just as well as on glass. It's a miracle!
Then try it on your stove-top.
It's now shinier than it's ever been.
You'll be amazed.
WD-40 Uses:
1. Protects silver from tarnishing.
2. Removes road tar and grime from cars.
3. Cleans and lubricates guitar strings.
4. Gives floor that 'just-waxed' sheen without making them slippery.
5. Keeps the flies off of Cows, Horses, and other Farm Critters.

18. It removes that nasty tar and scuff marks from the kitchen
flooring. It doesn't seem to harm the finish and you won't have to
scrub nearly as hard to get them off. Just remember to open some
windows if you have a lot of marks.
19. Remove those nasty bug guts that will eat away the finish
on your car if not removed quickly!
20. Gives a children's playground gym slide a shine for a super fast slide.

arthritis pain.
37. Florida 's favourite use is: 'cleans and removes love bugs from
grills and bumpers.'
38. The favourite use in the state of New York , it protects the Statue
of Liberty from the elements.
39. WD-40 attracts fish. Spray a little on live bait or lures and you
will be catching the big one in no time. Also, it's a lot cheaper than
the chemical attractants that are made for just that purpose. Keep
in mind though, using some chemical laced baits or lures for fishing
are not allowed in some states.
40. Use it for fire ant bites. It takes the sting away immediately and
stops the itch.
41. It is great for removing crayon from walls. Spray it on the marks
and wipe with a clean rag.
42. Also, if you've discovered that your teenage daughter has washed
and dried a tube of lipstick with a load of laundry, saturate the
lipstick spots with WD-40 and rewash. Presto! The lipstick is gone!
43. If you spray it inside a wet distributor cap, it will displace the
moisture, allowing the engine to start.
My discovery, Ants don't like it..................
P.S.
As for that Basic, Main Ingredient.......
Now This Is Definitely Worth SHARING!!

Words that echo in my life and I’ll bet many others.
https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=833207731498459&id=100044277197252&mibextid=cr9u03
I came to a crossroads in my life recently, as we all do from time to time.
I had a choice to make and it was likely to forge a new path for me..
And that’s exactly what I needed.
I couldn’t keep going through the motions and pretending I was happy…
Because I was and have been anything but happy and at peace.
I made mistakes, yes, but we all do.
What aren’t defined by what knocks us down, but rather what we do after we fall.
I’m choosing not to stay down, not to be angry and bitter..
I am better than that and I only have one person to prove that to and it’s myself.
I’ve let small things, people and ideas bring me down for far too long.
I’ve always had the vision to see the big picture but lacked the courage to lift myself out of the situations that hurt me.
I couldn’t see outside of myself and I let all the sloppy emotions get the best of me.
No more.
I’m better than that.
I don’t care if they aren’t, I can choose to be.
I’m strong enough, smart enough and passionate enough to make the hard choices, choose the difficult path and become more than I have before.
I know it won’t be easy.
I know it will hurt.
I know it won’t be quick.
But I’m worth it - I just now see the path that I had always closed off from myself.
To rise above.
To act with honor and character.
To evolve into more than I’ve ever been before.
It’s not enough to know that I have gifts and talents- we all have those.
It’s the rare person that can hone those skills and grow with each step…
So that’s just what I’m doing.
I won’t get where I want to be today, tomorrow or next week,
But I’ll find my way.
Maybe all the pain I’ve felt has made me stronger and all the tears I’ve cried worked to clear my vision to finally see myself and my path for what it’s always been:
Waiting for me to start being the person I’m meant to be…
And I can’t wait for that day when I can look in the mirror and smile,
Knowing that I finally did it.
With courage, strength and love, I became proud-
Of who am, where I’ve been and what the future holds.
That’s what dreams are made of-
Me and everything I’m becoming.
I’m going to keep rising.
