See you Friday!

Heyyy Anchorage!

This Friday is the final Anchorage Summer Night Market of the 2026 season, and we’d love to celebrate one last summer evening with all of you🧡

The Anchorage Summer Night Market was inspired by our family’s travels through Asia, especially the vibrant night markets in Thailand.

I fell in love with the energy they created. Families gathering, incredible food, local artists and makers, children’s activities, live music, and people simply enjoying being together.

I came back dreaming of creating something with that same vibe right here in my hometown!

This market has become so much more than I ever imagined because of you all!!!

We have packed the market with an amazing lineup of live music and vendors just for YOU!!

There’s something extra special happening at this Friday’s Night Market. Art by Cha Flow ChaCha Flores will be creating a live painting right in the heart of the market throughout the evening.
Stop by, watch the artwork come to life, and see the creative process unfold.
Next week, we’ll be auctioning off the finished piece on our social media pages, so be sure to follow along!

I want to begin this post by saying that I truly put all of my effort and intentions in using my business platform for positivity and encouragement. That mindset, unfortunately, doesn’t prevent the occasional frustration or upset and I need to speak on something small that has come to a head for me this afternoon.

I have TWO reserved spots (for customers, delivery drivers, etc) out of the 21 total designated parking spots. Only ONE is marked as handicap parking so I routinely allow handicapped persons to use my parking. There is also a large gravel lot adjoined that many people with bigger trucks/trailers use to park which is also where my car happens to be parked today. This space is large and could accommodate dozens of parked cars.

Daily, there are people who have no business here who park in my reserved spots and I may sigh to myself or wish people were better at reading/following instructions… but I go on with my day and focus on more important things. Sadly, this afternoon was different. A man and two women entered the parking lot and the man (who was driving) pulled the vehicle across BOTH of my spots. One of the ladies (who is outside of the vehicle now) tells him to finish parking while she runs into the post office. The man pointed to my signs in an attempt to explain to her he didn’t feel great about waiting for her there and she said something like “who cares, it’s just for a few minutes”. The man and other woman pull futrther into my spots and the other woman gets out and enters the shop (as if attempting to make business here). I let her know she didn’t have to come in for show, as I’d already heard the conversation between the other two people she was with. She laughed it off and said it was fine and that she isn’t going to buy anything but wanted to come in to see since they did, in fact, park in our reserved area. She then tried to blame her husband who was apparently the driver, saying he is always grumpy, etc and I pointed out to her that from my POV, he was the only one who had any type of conscience about the situation and that she could learn a thing or two from him instead of criticizing him. The other woman came back a few moments later, with more “oh wells” and “who cares”. People are just so disrespectful, and for no real reason. The weather isn’t bad, none of the three had handicap plates or had any mobility devices, and the parking lot is damn near empty. If you’re going to live life by your own rules and disregard others, then do that proudly. Please don’t track dirt into my shop for me to sweep up to ease YOUR conscience. That doesn’t help support my me, my business, or my pockets.

If you made it this far, you’re a real one!

Maaaaannnnn, this weather is giving me all sorts of hope and ideas 🤣

Unrelated, I have a follow up this morning (from my testing Tuesday) and will be opening only this afternoon. It was either this appt or one in September, so o sadly had to agree to today.

As always, thank you for your support! See you in a few hours!

Working on something huge 🤞🏻✨ All I can ask is that you as my community come out and support me when I debut this (new) thing! I’ve been asked by many of you to do something like this and I’m in an optimal position to give it a try. I will reveal more over the next few weeks 👀 I’m hoping to have everything ready for my time at the Alaska State Fair but I may not have all my supplies in time. I think this will be the first of its kind I’ve seen in Alaska and definitely in the area 🔥 Any guesses?

What kind of products would YOU like to see in shop or at markets? This post serves as my soft launch that I will be vending at the Alaska State Fair for THREE DAYS ONLY. I will make another post with the days you can find me 🤞🏻

For now, I’m making a list of everything I hope to be bringing with me and would like to here from you all on what you might want to see and buy 👀

Go support a wonderful event and many local vendors! I won’t be there Friday but will see you there next week!

Hey Anchorage!

Here’s your full lineup for this Friday, July 24!

One of the things that makes the Anchorage Summer Night Market so special is that we intentionally curate a rotating lineup of local vendors each week.

That means every Friday brings something new to discover.
Whether you’ve joined us before or it’s your first visit, there’s always a fresh mix of makers, artists, food, and local businesses to explore.

Every Friday you choose to spend at the Night Market helps support local artists, musicians, makers, food vendors, and small businesses who pour so much love into what they do.

Only 2 Night Markets remain this season, so if you’ve been meaning to come, we’d love to see you!
