Hello hello to my “other-family” ❤️🤗

I have had to stop doing hair, for the the foreseeable future, due to injuries that have developed and worsened over the last year.

I’ll be fine, I just have to take some time for myself, to heal up and figure out my next chapter.

It was not MY intention-but the universe seems to think otherwise-and I should start listening to her and also that Man Upstairs who has looked out for me. Sometimes, that just means looking out for and loving yourself.

I’ve always said- Health without wealth is meaningless, and you cannot serve from an empty vessel. Actually….those are not my words. But they are true.

So, I am stepping back and just taking each day and plans for the future as they and I can work themselves out-hopefully a little better 😂

It has been a pleasure to meet and serve so so many good people over the years, definitely not always easy, but I have always cared for- and taken -my career seriously-sometimes to a fault 😂

Thank you all for every kind word, every happy hair smile, all the fun and funny conversations, your trust and much love that has been shared with me over the years. I truly developed and found a Tribe that I never knew could exist that I am so fortunate to have had, have.

I will miss so so many of you and your wonderful faces and visits. ❤️❤️❤️

The amount of laughter and love and support we have shared is uncountable and cherished. As well, as many other co-stylists. They have had my back, challenged me to become a better person and most honestly-have kept me from walking away when I felt like I “just couldn’t.” Thank you, both, so very very much. She has beeen nothing but sweet and gracious with me 🙏❤️ in the time we have worked together . She is also kind of a bad ass-she bought AWHS in the middle of Twisted 20, she has 2 adorable children, a pretty cool husband and a heck of a lot of animals-and, she is kind of the Product Queen-she brought in new brands of woman’s, men’s, blondes and styling products that I had never worked with but are now some of my all time favorites.

-I’m going to keep this page-it has so many memories I don’t want lost and…who knows what the future brings.

🟣K18 is NOT a Heat Treatment-It IS a DEEP Treatment-it is applied on clean, damp hair, and it sits for 4 minutes by its self, before any other products are applied as it works it’s magic-and then STAYS in the hair. There is no build up or heavy feeling-just very, very moisturized LIKE a Deep Moisturizing Heat-Treatment as well as the added benefites-Rebuilding, Moisturizing, Strengthening & Shine-and very SILKY SOFT-that is my favorite part. ♥️

-The more I have been using it the more I love it!

🟣The Take-Home Treatment is not $16, it is $12.
That is not mandatory but highly suggested for the full benefit.

-The idea was to re gift the donated Items-I know a grandkid who painted ornaments with grandma, 2 little girls who will have their first riding lessons, and 4 people who got handcrafted Alaskan beauty to decorate their home. ❤️

-Even if you didnt enter yourself while you were in the Salon, all who came in or booked before Christmas I made sure to enter. Im sorry we didnt get to do a live drawing-as you can tell-got a little behind! 😂 BUT- We have winners!!

Helloe Hello all you sweet and amazing people.

I decided to write tonight and take tomorrow “off” of Facebook to concentrate and connect with my family.

But I want to wish you all a Merry, MERRY Christmas, no matter where or how large a group, we made it. I have sisters I havnt seen in years that couldn’t travel-and I know that’s a very common situation , and sad thing right now.

But whomever you’re with-please remember-no matter how INSANE this year has been-we have all made it.

And I know that the support from my friends. My “guests.” My Family. And Faith and Hope. Are what has gotten me to here. And I am so grateful I am.

So much has hit us. And I am so sorry for those who went through major, major losses. No one was completely “exempt.” We all had things to overcome, to face, and nothing to do but our best. But here we are, and ok the year isn’t over yet, and what happens in the next we will just have to find out, but remember what a truly very special day it is. Feel it.

I know more than ever how thankful and blessed I am. And mostly, pretty strong. And I know I overcame and had to learn some hard lessons. But I can celebrate those times, too.
And I challenge everyone of you to be thinking of those things as well. If you look, I know you have them. And there is ALWAYS good coming, we just don’t get it put on the calendar 😂I know the “Holiday Season” is NEVER just cookies and presents for all. And this one is extra tough.

But, I’m going to be looking for the light, because light ALWAYS conquers darkness. So search for the light. Don’t content yourself with sitting in the dark.
...and someone, please remind me of this post in a month or two when I “lose it” 😂😂

Please stay safe. Positive. Joyful. And remember the good times. There are many, many more to come.

I won’t get a chance to make anothor “ Abby-Post” in way too long. So here is one for the road-or airplane I suppose.

Im going to miss this wonderful woman so, so much. We’ve “been togethor” 😂 for sooo long. Ive made several posts about how much she means to me. But now it’s a little different.

Her moving to Scotland to chase her dreams-and be with her dream man-leaves me feeling so happy and excited for her...but I am going to miss her popping by just to say hi, our ridiculous jokes that would scare most people 😂 -she has a heart of gold-but, she has her own jokes that have actually left ME speechless and not knowing what to say-before she cracks up laughing at my confused face and wide eyeballs.
-I wont “call you out” on those ones, but I will never forget them and laugh when I think of them. (You know darn well what im talking about. ) (they were much more ammusing to you than me for a minute-until I figured your silly self out.)

Her sense of humor is as unique as she is.

But I know I’ll see her again. Until then...thanks for the ever so sweet gifts you gave me. Especially all our time together. I have many, many “people” and special treasures in my apartment, and thank you Abby Lampley for “coming in.” And the gift of knowing you and all our fun times together.
-Ima miss your always smiling face until we meet again. -Much farther away than I would like. But, we all need to go after what we want and creat our own lives and happiness, and that’s something she has been bravely doing for as long as Ive known her, over coming many challenges and I know she wont stop.

Until we meet again...I shall miss you, sweet lady. And im so proud of you and everything you have accomplished.

-This is on my “business page” because Abby has been a part of it for so long, and many of you know her and our stories and fun from here 😂 But, she is so much more than a guest in my chair. She has been a light in my life for years.
And always a friend. No matter the distance.

Ps when you say “I want you to do my wedding hair when it’s time and grown out but let’s cut it all off for now since I can’t see you for awhile” then, yes Abby, I am right-please keep growing out your beautiful hair (it’s only taken like, 7 years to get this far) 😂😂 I promise, you’re farther along than I have been in years and past the worst stage already.
