Mission Statement/Philosophy
The Fiercest Mind strives to deliver competent access to care for those who want assistance with enhancing their mental health. It is our mission that we don't just provide a blanket level of care but, to provide individualized support. The mission is to meet individuals where they are in their fiercest mind journey and assist with enhancing the quality of this journey. The Fiercest Mind believes that mental health is a vital part of sustaining life. The goal is to help unlock the hidden treasures and achieve self-actualization of a Fierce Mind.

My name is Sharda Belcher PMHNP-BC, Pronounced {Shar-day}. I grew up in an inner city community, and went to public school all my life. I have been a nurse since 2009. Starting my career as an L.P.N. (Lincoln Tech). I Transitioned to a Registered nurse in (2019). I am a proud graduate of Naugatuck Community college (Associates degree), (2019), and Western Governors University (Bachelors Degree), (2020). I am now a Psychiatric Nurse practitioner. I Graduated from Walden University (Masters), (2022). Board certified with ANCC. I have been Working in the behavioral health field for the past 14 years in a variety of areas including substance abuse, residential treatment centers, psychiatric emergency, and long-term psychiatric care. During this time I have identified many areas of disproportionate care in the community. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I strive to deliver competent access to care for individuals who are wanting assistance with enhancing their mental health. It is important that I don't just provide a blanket level of care but, to support those wherever they are in their fiercest mind journey. I believe that mental health is a vital part in sustaining life. I am committed to meeting individuals where they are. My goal is to help individuals unlock their hidden treasures and achieve self-actualization of a fierce mind.
