Happy Sunday! It has been a while since I’ve posted on this account! Honestly, life got SO BUSY. I changed jobs (praise God for dayshift). I had some fertility issues. I just needed a break. But now I’m almost 2 months PP after baby boy #2 and I’m ready to hop back on here! I’ll be posting about a variety of clean brands/products I use and love. When I tell you all that I got rid of my conventional cleaners, I’m not kidding you! The Thieves cleaning line from is amazing and it’s all I use (in addition to vinegar, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide! And my Norwex cloths of course!)

I’m surprised at how WELL these products (Thieves cleaner) work. Honestly they work better than the conventional cleaners I was using for years!

Not only does it clean well, but it’s safe!!! Thieves dish soap is free from sulfates, phosphates, dyes or perfumes which can be carcinogenic and endocrine disrupters that can alter our hormonal axis!

Key ingredients include:
• Natural grease-cutting agents (Decyl glucoside, Lauryl glucoside)
• Thieves® essential oil blend
• Jade Lemon essential oil
• Bergamot essential oil

Using 1-2 capfuls of Thieves household cleaner, I can turn one bottle of soap into three bottles of soap! Take one soap bottle, divide into three. Pour 1-2 capfuls of Thieves household cleaner and fill the rest up with water! Enjoy!! 👏🏼

Who loves burning candles? I definitely do! But to be honest, I haven’t burned a candle (other than my sons birthday candle) since February 2020 when I purchase my starter kit! I was JUST talking to a friend yesterday about how we love the flame, the beautiful look of candles, the smokey scent, and all of the different aromas that can come from burning candles. BUT when I learned about how they were for our bodies, I knew I had to make the switch!

When burned, paraffin wax can release toxic volatile organic compounds into the air including acetone, benzene and toluene, which are known carcinogens. These are the same chemicals found in diesel fuel emissions and are known to cause allergies, asthma attacks and skin problems!!

Now I fill my home up with amazing scents from my by using my diffuser! There are so many different blends you can use! A lot of times I just refer to Pinterest for inspiration. Young living also has a blog called “The Lavender Life” which has some great recipes on there! My current obsession is 4 drops of Thieves and 4 drops of orange. Smells JUST like fall! 🍂

Anyone else love soaps that smell like fall?! I know I am not alone. I used to love soaps that smell like pumpkin spice and nutmeg and all things fall, but did you know that these soaps are filled with toxic ingredients including ? The ingredient “fragrance” or “perfum” can be code for over 1000 different chemicals!

I recently made my own foaming hand soap using Castile soap, water, and 5 drops of each of my favorite oils! One of my favorite fall blends is and but I have so many combos I’d like to try! Do you make your own scented soaps? If so, send your favorite oil blends my way! 👏🏼

Wool dryer balls have been a family staple for many years now. I remember my mom stopped using dryer sheets over 10 years ago because of the number of toxic chemicals and allergens in the dryer sheets. Wool dryer balls are a great way to eliminate those toxins and they’re also Eco friendly since they can be reused over and over again!

Benefits of using Wool dryer balls:
•Soften laundry naturally
•Can scent clothes naturally by adding essential oils to them
•Can shorten drying time, saving money on electricity

Did you know?:
•The #1 cause of indoor air pollution is fabric softener
•The dryer releases the aroma of these chemicals and synthetic fragrances throughout your home, as well as outside which is harmful to the environment
•The chemicals in dryer sheets transfer to your clothes and can often irritate the skin

Harmful ingredients in dryer sheets and liquid fabric softener include:
•benzyl acetate which is linked to pancreatic cancer
•benzyl alcohol which is an upper respiratory tract irritant
•ethanol, which is linked to central nervous system disorders
•limonene, which is a known carcinogen
•chloroform, which is a neurotoxin and carcinogen

So ditch the toxins and let’s put this to good use!!!

If you want to add a nice scent to your clothes, you can add some to each dryer ball! I usually use 2 drops of each oil, but feel free to use as many as you’d like to provide the right scent for your clothes. Some of my favorites essential oils to use on my wool dryer balls are lemon, peppermint, lavender, and stress away (stress away has a nice vanilla scent)!

Ok, Mama’s! Let’s talk laundry detergent! Did you know that laundry detergent can be one of the MOST TOXIC items we have in our household?! If you have the app or if you visit the page, you can type in your commercial laundry detergent and see how toxic the ingredients are! That’s why I switched to non-toxic detergents. I rotate between a couple, but my favorite is the !! It comes in an ultra concentrated bottle that is meant to be diluted.

How to extend the life of your Thieves laundry soap:
-divide one bottle of the ultra concentrated detergent into three pump bottles (I purchased mine on amazon)
-pour in two capfuls of Thieves Household cleaner
-add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oils (optional)
-full pump bottle up with water
-peel off the label from the detergent bottle and reapply onto the pump bottle!

This can make your one laundry detergent last for up to 64 loads for each pump bottle! That’s 192 loads for just one ultra concentrated bottle. For regular loads, you only need two pumps of detergent. For heavier loads, you can use up to four pumps of detergent.

Now let’s break down the price:

-1 ultra ultra-concentrated bottle is $29.99 member price
-divide that by three bottles = $7.80 per bottle
-$7.80 divided by 64 loads = 12 cents per load! 👏🏼🙌🏼

Commercial laundry detergents can run around $12 for 59 loads (varies based on brand). That’s 20 cents per load to soak your clothes in toxins 🙃
