Hey all! Thanks for being patient while I get my schedule and situation at the Salon finalized! Amidst all this, I have also had to do some car shopping since my car was totaled!

I will be reaching out and following up with each of you in the next week now that I have things squared away for business again! ❤️

It’s Official! I’m opening books this summer for you and I can’t wait to see you again! I will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays (see graphic for times) stating May 26th! I will keep these hours through August 13, at which point I will switch to Tuesday and Thursday evenings! I’m so excited to be back at it with you guys!

Someone might be getting back behind the chair a bit this summer 🤭🤭🤭

Friends, the time has come for me step away from the chair. While I never anticipated doing anything other than hair, I have felt pulled to give more of myself to lead the Extended Care at my kids school. I completely understand that this might sound sudden, and leaves you wondering what to do with your hair.

If you would like, you can message me and I can give you some names and numbers of stylists that I’ve worked closely with and trust. If you’d prefer to branch out on your own, I respect that too!

My last day is currently scheduled for Friday August 15th. Any current appointments after that date will be considered canceled unless you have some flexibility for a weekend so I can do your hair one last time. Again, I respect what you need to do either way.

As we approach the last couple months of school, I’m going to be shifting my hours at the salon for the summer months. I still will only have one night available, however I’ll be adding in Fridays! Check my hours below, and feel free to message me if you have any concerns.

A little house keeping while I’ve got you.
▪️I will be unreachable from March 16th-19th. We’re doing a small getaway for Spring Break. I usually make myself available while at the Dells, but this time I’m completely cutting out of the real world.
▪️There will be pricing increases rolling out over the next few months. Prices are going up for me at the supply store, and with my overhead costs, I’m dangerously close to not being profitable. (Even closer when I have last minute cancellations and no shows)
▪️Which brings me to this, (I know I’m a broken record). No Shows and cancellations are at an all time high for me. Like 1-2 per week for the last two months. While I voluntarily work in a fluctuating industry, these lost wages will impact my ability to continue doing hair in the long run. If you have to cancel, please help me out by giving me some advance notice. I am actually super friendly and easy to negotiate with. And I much prefer communicating over being no showed.

Hey Friends! I had a color availability open up tomorrow at 9am! Please message me if you’d like to snag that spot!

With that being said, I had TWO cancellations for tomorrow. Two. I know that things come up, however, this is my livelihood. This is how I feed my children and keep a roof over our heads. It is almost impossible to fill a spot with less than 24 hours notice. I would appreciate a 48 hour notice or more on all possible changes. I’m always willing to work with you to get you in. But in order for me to fill your spot, I need time. All accounts will now be required to have a card on file. Non negotiable. If there is less than 48 hours on a cancellation, your card will be charged 50% percent of your service fee.

While I have talked to most of you about this and have avoided needed to follow through on this policy, I now will need to enforce this. I have been able to keep my pricing low thus far despite wild inflation at the beauty supply stores. But a color cancellation or a couple of cuts cancelling in one day greatly impacts my ability to continue to do business.

I wanted to pop on my drastically underused page and let everyone know how it’s going!

I know many of you have been frustrated with communicating with me lately, and for that, I am genuinely sorry. We have unfortunately been the punching bag for Norovirus, Covid and RSV, all in varying stages and times since the second week of December. Of course it wouldn’t work out that we’re all sick all at the same time to make life simpler. This has created such a mess with rescheduling and adjusting appointments.

I know there are so many of you that are waiting to hear from me, and I am doing my best to keep up. My household is extremely sleep deprived and we all seem to be operating on fumes. I do appreciate your patience and understanding in this absolutely crazy time of Major Sick.

I have some color openings this upcoming week on Tuesday and Wednesday during the day! These are looking like some of my last color appointments before the Holidays! They will go fast!
