The Black Hawk County Veterans Affairs Commission meets today (and every first Wednesday of the month) at 4:00 PM. Attend online or in person at the VA Office, 1210 Idaho Street, Waterloo.

We’re all very aware of the risks involved regarding and the severity of COVID-19, along with the impact it has had on everyone. The Arms Hairstyling Centre was directly impacted with the closures announced Sunday, March 22, 2020.

“Those closures, as part of her State Public Health Emergency Declaration proclamation signed Sunday, was to go into effect at 10 p.m. that evening and last until March 31. She is open to extending those closures as needed, said her spokesperson, Pat Garrett.”

Your health is and has always been our primary concern – which includes proper hygiene and more. Therefore, we would like to give you an update on the following:

Our Services

As the order states, our shop is closed for any hair appointments until March 31, 2020. Naturally, its difficult to know if that date may change – so please pay attention to our page for any announcements we may have. [Update, until April 7th or later]

We are continuing to book appointments with the March 31 [Update, until April 7th or later] date in mind. If you would like to make an appointment for dates and times after March 31 [Update, until April 7th or later], please give us a call at 319-235-6467. If that date changes, we will work with you to arrange a new time.

Our Products

During these strange and surreal times, we want to continue to do our part to help you – our beloved customers – keep healthy and clean as best we can with the products we offer.

Beginning Tuesday, March 24, we will offer contact-free curbside service. Rather than ask you to come into our shop, any in-stock items you would like to purchase will be delivered to your car curbside. In some cases, we are open to and may arrange a home delivery of our products.

Please call us at 319-235-6467 and we’ll work with you to get your product and arrange a time to get it to you while you remain in your car or home. Only our direct family is allowed in the store, but we are determined to serve you as fully as we can.
