I recently checked back in and was surprised to see so many people still here.

Tinnitus can be frustrating, exhausting, stressful and isolating at times.

I’m considering bringing this page back as a calm, helpful place focused on coping strategies, sleep, stress reduction and shared experiences.

I have waited too long to schedule an ear wax removal appointment with my doctor. The ringing/buzzing is very strong in my left ear but I'm really hoping that removing the wax will subdue some of that. Has anyone here benefitted from this alone?

Once the ear wax is removed, I'm scheduling an appointment with an audiologist to see what options there might be to mitigate my tinnitus. The ringing doesn't usually bother me when I'm out working or in noisier environments but once I'm home, in the quiet, the ringing really is annoying!
