One year ago I found my way back to yoga.
One year of choosing breath over chaos.
Of softening the anger, releasing the rage, and loosening the grip my past once had on me.

One year of showing up for myself, even on the days it felt hard.
Of learning patience with my body and compassion for my mind.
Of finding small moments of peace in the middle of busy salon days.

Yoga taught me that I don’t have to carry pain forever.
Some things can be breathed through.
Some things can be let go.
