Bringing in an inspo pic is so helpful to your stylist so we can help break down the picture together and figure out what will work or not work. I like to compare the natural base color in the inspo to my client to determine if it’s possible to even get anywhere close to the picture. I also like to look at where the color lives in the inspo are there highlights to the root is it more of a lived in color a money piece no money piece melted etc and also go over the tone of the hair in the picture will it look suitable on my client or clash with their eyes skin features? This inspo was easy for me to execute since my client had a similar base level and light features to her. We were obsessed with the outcome do you think I nailed it?!
