Hi! My name is Emma Dornbusch, and I’m so excited to be joining the Spruce family!

I have a true passion for the beauty industry, and my favorite part of what I do is helping people feel confident and beautiful. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone leave my chair feeling like the best version of themselves.

I grew up in Watertown, South Dakota and graduated from Great Plains. Outside of the salon, I love spending time with the people I care about most. Whether I’m enjoying the outdoors, making memories with family and friends, or spending a day on the lake!

I’m so excited to begin this new chapter, and I can’t wait to welcome you into my chair. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your hair goals!

Hi everyone! My name is Melanie Calmus, and I am so excited to introduce myself as one of the newest stylists at Spruce Salon and Spa. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to meet, connect with you all, and welcome each of you into my chair.

A little bit about me — I grew up in Canova, South Dakota, where I was raised on a farm and spent many years showing swine through both 4-H and open class. Throughout my school years, I was also involved in track, FFA, and National Honor Society.

When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me working out, spending time with my family and friends, attending livestock shows, shopping, or making memories with the people I love most.

I’m so excited to begin this new journey at Spruce Salon and Spa and look forward to seeing you in my chair!

The French twist is having a moment—and we’re here for it. Modern, effortless, and the perfect touch of 90s-inspired elegance.
