As some of you know, I have not had a relaxing vacation because I have been taking care of a couple of 4 week old kittens! Hazel, Elmer, & Pepe. Unfortunately, Pepe did not survive the first night. It was horrifically heartbreaking 💔. Hazel & Elmer are looking for their furever homes!!
I have so much respect & appreciation for the amazing people that foster. It’s a hard, scary, heartbreaking, stressful, wonderful,& EXPENSIVE experience. These people are selfless, incredible angels!!! Not only do they have to feed, bath, clean (sooo much cleaning 🧼), & play with the animals, but also try and keep them alive & healthy. They need to eat & gain a certain amount of weight everyday. They need help learning how & where to potty. Sometimes they are sick & need meds & extra care.
I have realized I am not cut out for this job! I’ll take big cats over babies any day🐈⬛
So next time you are buying pet supplies for your own babies, grab a pack of wet food, kitten formula, beds, paper towels, non clumping litter, or even a gift card & drop it off to your local foster, shelter, or other incredible people that take on this huge responsibility. PLEASE DONT FORGET TO SPAY & NEUTER YOUR PETS!!🩷🩷🩷
